Up to March 5, 2012 is open the registration to the "#1/Under Construction" notice, the first project of Air International Research Program realized in collaboration with NABA through the Department of Visual Arts.

AIR International Research Program is a project promoted by FARE association that is born from the need to extend to the international context the project artinresidence.it, FARE is the leader of together with NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti. 

The call #1/Under Construction, available on this page, is aimed to select an Italian artist and curator that from March 22 to May 4, 2012 will participate in the research project "#1/Under Construction" to be held in Milana and Beirut (Lebanon).
The research project aims to explore the contemporary city as a place of production of imaginary, lifestyles and cultural patterns, and to reflect on how the artistic and curatorial researches intercept these transformations. Milan and Beirut are the ideal setting because they are two very different cities that are experiencing a common process of urban, social, cultural, political and economical transformation, that will influence in the near future their identity, their individual and collective behaviors, and their role in the national and international cultural map.
The project will include contribution to research and discussion, working sessions as well as meetings with artists, curators, researchers and national and international experts from various disciplines, including architecture, philosophy, social psychology and urban planning.
