On Thursday, February 16, 6 pm at the Aula Magna Spazio Elastico, will be held the public meeting "Designing Connections: people, places, information", promoted by the NABA Department of Visual, Performing and Multimedia Arts, with the School of Media Design and Multimedia Arts.
Guest of the meeting is Federico Casalegno, director of the MIT Mobile Experience Lab and Associate Director of the MIT Design Laboratory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
The MIT Mobile Experience Lab studies the interaction between the three main themes that unify technology and society: sustainability, mobility and connection. Through the research projects of the MIT Mobile Experience Lab, e.i. the sustainable design of urban and rural areas and the realization of mobility systems, Federico Casalegno will discuss how to creatively design connections between people, places and information using cutting edge information technologies.
As “social scientist” with an interest in the impact of networked digital technologies in human behavior and society, he will discuss emerging dynamics characterizing the synergy between people, places and media.
Marco Scotini and Francesco Monico will introduce the open lecture.
