NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, is a partner of The HUB Trieste, a team of young designers and entrepreneurs who are working to bring in Trieste The HUB Network, a worldwide network made up of people and physical spaces that aims to create a new culture of enterprise and a platform of relationships and connections, providing tools and services for young social innovators, creatives and professionals.
NABA and The Hub Trieste collaborate and invite you to participate to "Re-hub", an international co-design workshop to be held in Trieste from March 6 to 10 2012 and which involves the realization of a common workspace for artists, entrepreneurs and investors. Michele Aquila and Susanna Legrenzi - NABA Department of Design - are involved in the project.
The workshop is designed for students belonging to the Schools of Architecture, Design, Arts or Communication and graduates from such Schools from less than a year. It consists of 5 days which will alternate training moments with teamworks. A design process that will develop inside of the yard. Designers, architects, companies and entrepreneurs of the sector will be present to inspire the participants showing innovative solutions in different disciplines. A committee will select one or more projects whose authors will be part of the team that in the weeks following the workshop will implement the selected ideas.
