FASHION IS A LANGUAGE
The two-year program in Fashion and Textile Design is addressed to young designers that adopt and recognize in fashion a language able to visually embrace the essence of the contemporary world (music, visual arts, humanistic culture, technical/scientific culture, craft and industrial technologies, experimentation and tradition): fashion is their language.
The program runs through a sort of permanent lab, where the students play a central role. Experienced professionals and leading figures in the field of fashion and creativity mentor the students in building their very own skills to achieve a personal and professional identity.
The two-year program embraces theoretical and practical lectures, as well as internships that allow students to partake and experience the creative realities that make of the Milan area an international landmark (high craft labs, publishing companies and communication agencies, entertainment, events, etc.).
The class-lab where students spend the two years recreates the atmosphere of an atelier-greenhouse in which the connection between cultural contents and real application will be the source of creative outputs.
This connection is the essence for each student to base the construction of their own professional aptitude within different creative fields (fashion, research, styling, visual, communication).
